The Powerful Tools for Caregivers class series helps caregivers take better care of themselves while providing for a friend or relative. By taking care of your own health and well-being, you become a better caregiver. Six class sessions held once a week are led by experienced class leaders. Participants are given a copy of the Powerful Tools for Caregivers Workbook as a companion guide and to provide additional caregiver resources. 

Time: 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. CT

Date: Six consecutive Thursdays, beginning 04/16/26 and ending 05/21/26

Additional information: This class series is limited to residents of Northwest Suburbs of Cook County in the state of Illinois living in Elk Grove Village, Schaumburg, Palatine, Barrington and Wheeling Townships. The classes will be held at The Kenneth Young Center in the Community Room.
