PTC Master Trainer Resources

Helpful resources for Master Trainers include the following:

• Recording of the webinar for Master Trainers on August 19, 2021.
• How to Guide for Master Trainers– shows step-by-step instructions for the Class Leader Training process and accessing PTC files for Master Trainers, including:
  • Creating an account with the Iowa State University (ISU) Extension store.
  • Ordering electronic copies of The Caregiver Helpbook
  • Accessing PTC Master Trainer files on the ISU Extension store website.
    • Need more help? Check out this instructional video.
• Complete the Confirmation Form for Class Leader Training – Register your PTC Class Leader Training at least 3 weeks before your event begins. Ensure that you do the following:
  • Pay the Class Leader License Fees through the ISU Extension Store
    • Note: PTC Headquarters cannot send the certificates to the new class leaders until payment is received.
  • Complete the Class Leader Training Roster Email to communicate the number of Class Leader Training participants and share their email addresses via the online form
    • Once PTC Headquarters receives the roster email, we will:
      • Send the Welcome Email to newly trained Class Leaders
      • Collect the Class Leader Evaluation data and send it to the Master Trainers when training concludes.

  • You can access the “I am a caregiver” video on our website.
  • Bookmark this page on our website that has the relaxation exercises in English. You can also review these exercises in Spanish and Korean.
• Promotional Materials
  • In addition to the promotional materials you can find under the “Program Templates” folder in your Class Leader Materials, you can view a few promotional materials on our website, too.
• Provide Feedback
